About Resume / CV builder

Build a resume or CV offline with Classic or Modern templates, then export a PDF — nothing is uploaded.

Most resume sites want an account before you can download a PDF of your own work history. This builder keeps contact, summary, experience, education, and skills in the tab, with a live preview that matches what you export.

Pick from Classic, Modern, Bold, Timeline, or Compact layouts, then tune accent color, font, heading style, name size, and density. Classic and Timeline stay single-column for ATS-friendly reading order; Modern/Compact use a visual sidebar while keeping DOM order sensible.

Drafts persist in localStorage on this device until you hit Start over. Export uses an in-browser capture into pdf-lib. Print is available as a zero-dependency fallback.

How to use Resume / CV builder

  1. 1Pick Classic or Modern and fill contact, summary, experience, and education.
  2. 2Watch the live preview update.
  3. 3Download PDF or print. Start over clears the local draft.

What it won't do

  • PDF export rasterizes the preview pages — not a fully tagged PDF/UA document.
  • Drafts are per-browser, not synced across devices.

Common questions

Is the Modern template ATS-friendly?

It is styled to look two-column while keeping DOM order aligned with reading order, which helps ATS extraction compared with true CSS multi-column or text-in-images. Always verify with your target employer’s tools.

Where is my resume data stored?

In this browser’s localStorage under a draft key for this tool. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

Can I add custom sections?

The data model supports freeform sections; use experience bullets and skills for most cases in v1.

Why this one doesn't upload your file

There is no server to upload to. This page is a static file, and the work happens in your browser using the same graphics and WebAssembly code that renders every other site you visit. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed, and handed back as a download. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network entirely and it keeps working. The longer explanation
