Privacy

There isn't much policy when I never hold the file. This page exists because people look for one, and because I'd rather write the short version than paste a generator.

Files

Tools run in your browser. Read locally, process locally, download locally. Not sent to ihateonlinetools.com, not stored, not queued, not scanned for “safety,” not fed into a model.

Accounts

None. You don't need an email to use the tools. Mail to contact@ihateonlinetools.com is just email if you choose to send it.

Analytics

Google Analytics may load for page views (which URL, roughly from where, what kind of browser). That isn't your file, not a thumbnail, not a filename. Block it if you want; the tools still run.

Cookies and local storage

Theme preference, a short “recent tools” list, notepad drafts, and (for the API tester) request history sit in local storage. History redacts Authorization, Cookie, and similar headers before saving. None of that includes the image or zip files you dropped. Analytics may set its own cookies; that's Google, not a locker for your uploads. On a shared computer, clear site data when you leave.

Third parties

Encoders and models come from this origin, not a WASM/ONNX CDN. The exception is Analytics, if the script loaded. I don't ship your file to a conversion API, an AI API, or a “deleted in 24 hours” bucket.

What I can't promise

I can't promise your laptop is clean. I can't promise an extension won't read the tab. I can't promise a screenshot you later upload somewhere else stays private. I can promise this site doesn't take the file in the first place.
