How it works
The short version
I don't have a database of your files, because I don't collect them. There isn't a “delete my data” button because there's no data to delete. Every operation — resizing an image, compressing a file, converting a format — happens using your device's own processing power, inside your browser.
The honest version
What does touch the network:
- The page itself (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) — loaded once, like any website
- The specific processing code a tool needs — loaded the first time you open that tool, then cached on your device
- Anonymous, aggregate usage counts (e.g., “the resize tool was opened”) — never filenames, never file contents, never anything that identifies you or what you worked on
What never touches the network:
- Your files, at any stage — before, during, or after processing
- Any metadata extracted from your files (EXIF data, PDF properties, etc.)
- Anything you type into a tool (text overlays, redaction areas, form fields)
What happens if you lose your connection partway through: Nothing bad. Once a tool's finished loading, it keeps working with the network off. This isn't a trick — it's the natural result of the file never needing the network in the first place.
FAQ
Is this actually free?
Yes. There's no premium tier that unlocks “real” no-upload processing — every tool works the same way for everyone.
Why doesn't it need an account?
Accounts exist to track usage across sessions or to store your files for you. I don't do either, so there's nothing an account would give you.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in any modern mobile browser, though very large files or heavier tools may run slower on older phones — that's a hardware limit, not a paywall.
What if a tool genuinely needs a server?
I'll say so, clearly, on that specific tool's page, before you use it. The default assumption on this site should be “local,” and I'll flag the rare exception rather than let you assume.
