How it works

The short version

There's no “delete my data” button because there's nothing to delete. I don't keep a folder of your uploads. Resize, compress, convert: that work uses your device, inside the tab you already opened.

The honest version

What does touch the network:

The page (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), once per visit, like any site
Tool code the first time you need it, then from cache. Video/audio pull ~30 MB of FFmpeg from this origin. AI tools pull a model from here too. Not from a random CDN.
Aggregate page views (“resize was opened”) if Analytics loaded: never filenames, never contents

What never touches the network:

Your files (before, during, or after)
EXIF, PDF properties, or other metadata read out of the file
Anything you type into a tool (overlays, regex, JSON, captions)

Wifi dies mid-job? Fine, once the tool finished loading. That isn't a party trick. The file never needed the network.

FAQ

Is this actually free?

Yes. There's no paid tier that suddenly makes the no-upload path “real.” Same tools for everyone.

Why doesn't it need an account?

Accounts are for storing files or tracking you across days. I do neither, so a login would be theatre.

Does it work on my phone?

In a modern mobile browser, yes. Huge files or heavy encodes can crawl on an old phone. That's hardware, not a paywall.

What if a tool genuinely needs a server?

I'll say so on that page before you start. Default here is local. Exceptions get flagged, not buried.
