Convert HEIC

Apple's default still format on iPhone. Every pair below runs in the browser. The file is not uploaded. HEIC is decoded with a local WebAssembly decoder. I do not write HEIC. If you need an iPhone still that a Windows box or a printer will open, convert out of HEIC on this hub.

This hub is the index, not the workbench. Each conversion is its own URL so a search for “HEIC to something” can land on a page that only does that job. The file picker on those pages expects HEIC when you are leaving this format, or produces HEIC when you are arriving. A generic dropdown still exists under Video convert and Audio convert if you would rather pick the destination after you drop the file.

You can check the same way on every pair: open the network panel, drop a HEIC file, convert it. You should see this origin. You should not see a POST of the file. Google Analytics, if it is on, is page views — not your HEIC bytes. If a tool needs a server, it is not on this site.

This site can read it. Encode is not offered. Engine: heic.

Convert to HEIC

I do not write HEIC. The hub exists so you can see what I will decode instead of promising an encoder I do not have.
