About Password generator
Generates random passwords in your browser with crypto.getRandomValues, using the length and character sets you pick.
I got tired of generators that either upload the result 'to email it to you' or quietly use Math.random. This page pulls bytes from crypto.getRandomValues, builds a string from the sets you tick, and that's the whole product.
Length goes from 4 to 128. Lowercase, uppercase, digits, and symbols are optional, but at least one set has to stay on. If you leave several sets checked, each one contributes at least one character so you don't accidentally get a 'digits included' password with no digits. The string is shuffled with fresh entropy before it lands in the box.
There's no pronounceable mode, no diceware list, and no account to save into. Copy it into your password manager and close the tab. I never see the string.
How to use Password generator
- 1Set the length and which character sets to include.
- 2Click Generate.
- 3Copy the password from the main pane when you want it on the clipboard.
What it won't do
- Character sets listed on the page only, no custom alphabet editor.
- Not a password manager and not a breach checker.
Common questions
Is this password generator cryptographically secure?
It uses crypto.getRandomValues, which is what browsers expose for this job. Fine for passwords you will paste into a manager. Still not a password manager itself, you need somewhere else to store unique passwords per site, and this page won't do that for you.
Do you store or upload the generated password?
No. It lives in this tab until you copy it or leave. Open the network panel if you want; nothing carrying the string goes out.
Why is there a maximum of 128 characters?
Past that you're usually generating a key, not a password people type. A 256-byte secret belongs in a key tool, not a field you might paste into a signup form by accident.

Why this one doesn't upload your file
There is no server to upload to. This page is a static file, and the work happens in your browser using the same graphics and WebAssembly code that renders every other site you visit. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed, and handed back as a download. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network entirely and it keeps working. The longer explanation
