About Wordle solver
Type your Wordle guesses, click the tiles to match the colours the game gave you, and see which five-letter words are still possible. The word list is bundled and nothing is sent anywhere.
After two or three guesses the answer space is much smaller than it feels, and a filter does that elimination faster than squinting at a keyboard. Type a guess, then click each tile to cycle it gray, yellow, green, so the row matches what the game showed you. The list underneath updates after every change. You can add up to six guess rows and remove any of them if you mis-entered one.
Repeated letters are the place hand-rolled solvers go wrong, so they get care here. A gray tile on a second copy of a letter means "no more than the copies you already have", not "this letter is absent", which is how Wordle itself scores a guess like SPEED against an answer with one E. Yellow means the letter is in the word but not in that spot; green pins it.
The list is 2,315 common five-letter English words, bundled with the page. It has no connection to any game's real answer list or to today's puzzle, so the candidates are "words that fit your clues", and a handful of them will be words the game would never pick. Only the first 300 matches are displayed, and nothing shows until you've typed at least one full five-letter guess.

Common questions
Does it know today's answer?
No. It filters a fixed word list by the clues you give it. It never talks to any game, so it can't see the answer, and it can't tell you which of the remaining words is the likeliest.
Why does it still list a word the game would never use?
Because the list is a general set of common five-letter words, not the game's own answer list. If you want to avoid a word that looks obscure, skip it; the filter has no idea about popularity.
How are repeated letters treated?
Like Wordle treats them. If you guess a word with two of the same letter and only one is coloured, the gray copy tells the filter the answer has no extra copy beyond the coloured ones. It does not ban the letter altogether.
Do my guesses have to be words in the list?
No. Any five letters work as a guess row. A row with fewer than five letters is ignored until it's complete.

Why this one doesn't upload your file
There is no server to upload to. This page is a static file, and the work happens in your browser using the same graphics and WebAssembly code that renders every other site you visit. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed, and handed back as a download. Once the page has loaded you can disconnect from the network entirely and it keeps working. The longer explanation
